#471 A Beach For Seals This is Hopkins Marine Station Beach near the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I originally painted it en plein air for a competition, but was never happy with it. So I repainted it in my studio a few years later. I loved watching the seals as I painted. The beach is fenced off so the seals have the beach all to themselves! The second photo shows how it might look in a frame. #471 A Beach For Seals This is Hopkins Marine Station Beach near the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
