#791 Scrub Jay Scrub Jays are such characters! They are constantly on the move scouting out nuts, berries and anything else they can find. I have watched them bury nuts in our lawn and always wonder if they remember where they are later. I had fun with this one! The Jay is painted over many layers of paint worked with sponges, stencils, outlining and other techniques. The leaves are then brought out by painting the negative spaces. I revised this painting. This painting is from “My Favorite Birs” series. It is painted on a cradled panel and the edges are painted as well. It can be hung with or without a frame, but it is ready to hang on the wall. Check out my blog to read about how I painted this. #791 Scrub Jay Scrub Jays are such characters! They are constantly on the move scouting out nuts, berries and anything else they can find.
