#792 California Quail One of the first birds I enjoyed watching as a child was the quail that wandered through our yard. I loved to listen to them chatter and watch their babies. One male was always on guard duty and the black feather on his head would bob back and forth as he watched for danger. This painting is from “My Favorite Birs” series. It is painted on a cradled panel and the edges are painted as well. It can be hung with or without a frame, but it is ready to hang on the wall.
