#550 By the Garden Gate at Tor House I was asked to do a painting in the gardens at Tor House in Carmel (CA) during their annual Open House. This is the scene near the garden gate. So many pretty flowers in that garden! This is the home of Robinson Jeffers who was the resident poet in the early days in Carmel. His house attracts people from all over the world.
