#835 Rose of Peace My friend gave me some beautiful roses from her garden. Painting roses in gouache (opaque watercolor) is a challenge and I worked hard on this one. The large Peace rose kept changing colors as it opened. What a magnificent rose with its delicate pink edges! After painting for 4 hours I am pretty happy with my first attempt at rose painting with gouache. Watch a video of me painting these flowers on my Instagram page: @rhettsstudio
