# 054 Murphys House This pastel painting was begun as a plein air painting and completed in the studio. It is from a trip to the charming little Gold Rush town of Murphys, CA. I was fascinated by the play of light from the beautiful trees on the white painted house with the picket fence. Currently in a show and for sale at The Chartreuse Muse Art Gallery in Modesto, CA through May, 2024.
