#761 Celebrating Pacific Grove Every year the city of Pacific Grove (near Monterey, California) decorates the trees on Lighthouse, the main street, Lighthouse, for the Feast of Lanterns in August. Every house and tree has brightly colored lanterns on display. I sat on a bench on the sidewalk to paint this painting in plein air. The lanterns are wonderful to paint!
