#862 Carmel Beach Through the Cypress Trees My friend and I painted at Carmel Beach, CA. My original painting was in gouache in my note book (see 2nd photo) and I was able to paint this back in my studio on a wrap around stretched canvas from my gouache study. The cypress trees along Carmel Beach are so twisted and bent from the constant wind.
